Midwest inventions

Due to the growing population of people who want to live by themselves, as they age or become handicapped, we eagerly help them achieve that goal. We constantly put ourselves in their shoes and come up with invention strategies to assist in making independence for all a reality. Our company is built on the need to help people remain independent for as long as they desire. This is our core mission and we take this responsibility to heart every day. Please be sure to click on the links above to the right, to look at just some of our inventions. Thank you for your interest.

Our Robotic Lawnmower is a “Top of the Line” product. We have spared no expense to develop this with the best material and craftsmanship available anywhere in the world. This is completely battery operated; no petroleum and no harmful materials are used to manufacture this. Safety is of a huge importance to us, we use position sensors to assure it will never get close to any person, animal or inanimate objects. It also, has a built in range and low battery switch, which will shut it down if it ever gets out of range, so, the lawnmower will never be out of your control and harm anyone or anything. It comes with a trickle charger, which will never over charge the batteries. There is also an optional “Dog house” this is a small building you can put outside, and back the lawnmower in, it will then begin charging all by itself, using the same trickle charging method, just mentioned.

The lawnmower has a 2) built in on board streaming web cams, this allows you to see everything it sees, including a rear facing camera when you need to see behind you. You can view this over any smart phone, tablet, or smart TV in your home. We are working on a newer version that will allow you to view and operate it from across town or across the country over your cell service as well, this should be available in 2019.

The lawnmower uses 2) 12 volt DC marine batteries you will be able to get from almost any automotive store, and replace yourself if you wish.

I have been testing GPS on this but as of yet, it isn't accurate enough to be safely used. I have also been testing 3 axis system which is much more accurate. This is still in the infancy stages as the biggest drawback to it, would be line of site axis. With this in mind you would have to have them setup in several strategic locations.

I am also using VR googles. This allows you to walk around, lay down, what ever position you wish to view the live on-board streaming video.

The lawnmower has additional attachments you will be able to purchase, such as a leaf bagger, lights and even a trailer among other things we haven’t even thought of yet.

We, here at MidWest Inventions are always on the cutting edge, always open to other innovations to improve people’s lives, if you have an idea, please let us know, we will be happy to look into it. We are centrally located in beautiful Iowa, with easy access to everywhere, where we do the best mid-west fabrication because we are the invention experts!

The robotic snow blower is also a top-of-the-line product. Again, this is because we put so much into this product. It is easy to put so much of yourself into something when you believe in it so much, and you can actually see it helping people. That is what makes us proud to be here.

This robotic snow blower uses 2) 12 volt deep cycle marine batteries, which can be bought at almost any automotive store and easily installed. There are a couple automatic shut down switches to keep this completely safe, there is an “out of range” shutdown, in case the snow blower ever gets out of range, it will shut down, to keep from causing unknown damage to itself or anything else, there are also sensors to keep it from getting to close to people. Unlike, all gas snow blowers, if something gets stuck in the blades, you no longer have to put your hand in to get the item unstuck, this is very dangerous and has been proven fatal. Now, all you do, is to reverse the blade motor using the remote, easy peasy.

The snow blower comes with a trickle charger, which will never over charge the batteries. There is an optional “Dog house” this is a small building you can put outside, and back the snow blower in, it will then begin charging all by itself, using the same trickle charging method, just mentioned.

I recently discovered one of my first version of the robotic lawnmower was posted on another site. I have no idea what my lawnmower has to do with autonomous cars, but right in there with some of the best and most expensive cars, they have a small mention of the lawnmower. Please visit this site and check it out. The link is right below, titled "Autonomous Archives"

From the very beginning, the first concept of having a remote control device, I have been on an inconceivable adventure. I have been documenting most of the things I have done, the mistakes as well as the achievements. I will be putting this in a book, titled "Dawn of the robots in their own words" I hope you pick up a copy.

Midwest Inventions (Previously called Down Time Technology) has been around for several years. We are among just a few Iowa innovators that think outside of the box. We thrive on problems, for every problem, there is a solution, you just have to have the ambition and the knowledge. That is where our invention strategies always show. We have solutions, waiting for your problem!

Please email me with any comments or suggestions. I am eager to hear from you. I would also love it if you would let me know if this is a product(s) you would be interested in buying. This is just a survey to let me know if these products are worth proceeding with. Thank you, and please don't hesitate to email me. For best response and to make sure your emails don't go in to my spam folder, please put "robots" in the subject line.

I am also interested in anyone who can help me on the business end and/or financially. I have the patented inventions, just doesn't appear to be going anywhere.

Thank you,

John
